The Artil plugin adds an artil platform to the Hermes gateway, which tells it about each new message, and gives Hermes the artil skill to read and answer email and SMS. Install Hermes and the Artil CLI, sign in as your agent, then run:
Send a test email to your agent’s address and check your inbox for the reply. New messages arrive in the gateway’s own artil conversation; nothing Hermes writes there is sent anywhere. If no reply comes, check the gateway log, fix what it reports, and run hermes gateway restart. To remove the plugin:
